In order to ensure the widest possible access to the results of research, as well as development and innovation, Hungary has joined the international initiative Open Science on the 18th of October 2021. In the spirit of transparency and cooperation, the initiative opens new doors for the exploitation and innovative dissemination of scientific results using modern technological and digital developments.
The College of University Library Directors, whose members include the ELTE University Library and Archives, also participated in the event of the National Research, Development and Innovation Office (NRDI Office) as a committed signatory of the Position Paper on Open Science.
