The most important series are the following in the Osiris classics series: Hungarian (Endre Ady, János Arany, Mihály Babits, Dániel Berzsenyi, Mihály Csokonai Vitéz, Attila József, Gyula Juhász, Dezső Kosztolányi, Zsigmond Móricz, Sándor Nemes Nagy, János Pilinszky, Miklós Radnóti, Lőrinc Szabó, Árpád Tóth, János Vajda, Mihály Vörösmarty, etc.) and greats of world literature (Aristophanes, Büchner, Chekhov, Moliere, Schiller, Sophocles, etc.). In the Osiris Library we publish classical and possible classical works in the future of the humanities and social sciences (anthropology, film theory, philosophy, literary theory, law, ethnography, linguistics, pedagogy, psychology, sociology, history, theology). Basic textbooks from the same disciplines appear in the Osiris textbooks series. The decisive basic works of philosophy and historiography (Bahtyin, Heidegger, Kant, Locke, Schopenhauer, Herodotus, Plutarch, Suetonius, Thucydides, Xenophon) are published in the Sapientia humana series. One of our most important tasks is to publish contemporary and classical Hungarian historical works (Millennium Hungarian History) and to shape public thought on history (Nation and Memory).
