Due to the relocation of our external warehouse the books and doctoral dissertations stored there, as well as the entire stock of the library's periodicals, will be unavailable until the beginning of January 2025. Many of our books are still available for loan and current literature can be found on the open shelves.

Trianon and the Hungarian higher education

On the 8th and 9th of November 2021, the sixth scientific conference entitled „Trianon and the Hungarian Higher Education” will be held. Several members of the Hungarian Association of Higher Education Archives will take part in the conference, and some of the lectures will also touch on history of our university at the beginning of the 20th century. The conference can also be followed online. The detailed program is available on the website of the archives of the University of Sopron.
